Quick Start

To be able to sign in to the CAQH Endpoint Directory, you should have a Smart Trading account.

To start using the CAQH Endpoint Directory:

  1. Go to https://endpointdirectory.caqh.org and click Sign Up here to create a Smart Trading account or sign in using your credentials if you already have one. You can click Registration Support FAQ to be redirected to the FAQ registration support page of the CAQH Endpoint Directory at the following link: https://www.caqh.org/solutions/caqh-endpoint-directory-faq-registration-support, where you can view all the required information on registration.
  2. Contact your account administrator that should contact a CAQH administrator to enable the CAQH Endpoint Directory subscription for your organization account.

After you sign in to the CAQH Endpoint Directory, provide information on your organization using the page Organization Profile. This information will be available to payers and other vendor organizations and can be used to search for your organization in the Directory.

Before you start working with the CAQH Endpoint Directory, consider the following steps to publish your application or endpoint to the CAQH Endpoint Directory:

  1. Register an application/endpoint you want to publish using the pages My Applications and My Endpoints.
  2. Add information on the application/endpoint to the profile of the application and the endpoint.
  3. Select the scenarios against which you want to test your application/endpoint.
  4. Create executions that define which scenarios to use for testing.
  5. Submit executions for a review.
  6. Submit an application/endpoint for validation.
  7. Publish your application and endpoint to the Directory after you receive the approval.

After your applications and endpoints are published, you can view them in the Directory as well as applications and endpoints published by other organizations. You can also access the CAQH Endpoint Directory through RESTful public API. To communicate with other organizations and access their application and endpoints, establish a connection with them.

You can also view updates from your partners, as well as the current statistics on your applications, endpoints, and profile on the Dashboard page of the CAQH Endpoint Directory.

You can also move to your organization's public page that contains information on your organization contact details and the published endpoints fetched from the Directory and that are publicly available for your organization. Your organization's public page is available for members, application developers, vendors, and so on. To move to this page, click the button representing the application on the navigation bar CAQH Endpoint Directory (), and then click Go to Public URL. You will be redirected to your organization's public page with the following link: https://endpointdirectory.caqh.org/#/public/<YourAccountID>.
