Quick Start

To be able to sign in to Structured Data Capture, you must have a Smart Trading account.

To start using Structured Data Capture:

  1. Go to https://sdc.sandbox.kollab.link and click Sign Up to create a Smart Trading account or sign in using your credentials if you already have one.
  2. Contact your account administrator to enable Structured Data Capture subscription. If you are an administrator, go to https://auth.edifecsfedcloud.com and enable Structured Data Capture for your organization's account. The Managed File Transfer service is enabled by default as a dependent service for Structured Data Capture.

When the Structured Data Capture subscription is approved, then in the Managed File Transfer service, the following actors are automatically created for your account:

  • The sdc.transmissions inbox to receive transmission from Cloud SDC application. You can define the sub-folders in this inbox as well.
  • The sdc.app@{YourAccountID} application user who will have access to the sdc.transmissions inbox.

The sdc.app@{YourAccountID} application user is assigned as an authorized user to the sdc.transmissions inbox.

Structured Data Capture enables an agent connection for the sdc.app@{YourAccountID} application user to receive files through the Managed File Transfer service.

The MFT agreement between your organization's and Edifecs's accounts is modified in the following way:

Note For work automation, there should be only one active agreement concluded between your organization's and Edifecs's accounts .

  • The sdc.transmissions inbox is added as Shared Inbox from your side.
  • The sdc.responses inbox is added as Shared Inbox from an Edifecs side.
  • The sdc.app@{YourAccountID} application user is added as an authorized user from your side.
  • The Edifecs sdc.app@edifecs application user is added as a trusted user from an Edifecs’s side.

To use Structured Data Capture, as health plan administrators or program owners, consider the following steps:

  1. Design/manage programs to capture data for a specific purpose.
  2. Enroll partner users (submitters) to programs.
  3. Define the frequency of data submission of a certain program or change the program's settings if you are a program owner.
  4. View and/or overdue incoming transmissions.
  5. View and copy a unique URL of Structured Data Capture Partner Portal for your partners. The link is generated as soon as the Structured Data Capture subscription for your organization account is enabled.

    In the left pane of Structured Data Capture, click the section Configuration ( on the toolbar). In the Configuration pane, in the Partner Portal Link section, copy the partner portal URL. This is the URL for your partners to access Structure Data Capture and submit the data to you. Publish the link on your website so that partners can access it.

To start using Structured Data Capture:

Go to https://sdc.sandbox.kollab.link and click Sign Up here to create Smart Trading accounts for your organization to register your users or sign in using your credentials if you already have one.

To use Structured Data Capture Partner Portal, consider the following steps:

  1. Use the payer's published URL for the Partner Portal on their organization's website and get familiar with the Partner Portal on the Dashboard page.
  2. Submit data to the programs you are enrolled to.
  3. View all the submissions you sent on the Submissions - Outgoing page.
  4. Accept/decline enrollment invitations on the Programs page.

In the left pane of Structured Data Capture, click the section My Profile ( on the toolbar).

In the My Profile section, you can:

  • View and edit your first and last name.
  • View your email address.
  • Change your password.
  • Enable multi-factor authentication.
  • View the name and the account ID of your organization, its address and phone number.
  • View the information on administrators.

If you are an administrator, click Manage Organization Account (in the upper-right corner of the pane) to be redirected to the Smart Trading Cloud if you want to view and manage other Smart Trading services that you are subscribed to or subscribe to new ones.

Note The application switcher is available only for health plan administrators and program owners.
