Transmissions

The submission data exported by Structured Data Capture to either an MFT (Managed File Transfer) inbox or to be downloaded by a user is called a transmission.

On the Structured Data Capture user-interface, you can view the transmissions through the Transmissions module.

The page displays all the transmissions and their details which include ID, Receiver, Records, Size, Status, Modified Date, Program, and Delivery Location.

Detail Description
ID The ID of the transmission.
Receiver The name of the receiver associated with the transmission.
Records The number of records associated with the transmission.
Size The file size in bytes.
Status The status of the transmissions processing, completed, orerror.
Modified Date The date when the transmission was last modified.
Program The name of the program.
Delivery Location The location where the transmission was submitted.

You can view or filter transmissions based on the status (Processing, Completed, or Error), search for transmissions, and group transmissions by program or receiver.

Submission Response Reconciliation

You can process transmissions sent by Structure Data Capture in your backend system, for example, XEServer routes, to further validate the data that has been submitted by your partners (providers). So that, you can fetch validation reports that contain responses to reconcile corresponding submissions and share these reports with your partners (providers).

To download the response files:

  1. On the Transmissions page, select a transmission for which you want to download submission response files, and in Delivery Location, click Download file.
  2. In the Save As dialog, navigate to the location where you want to save the .zip archive with response files, and then click Save.

The transmission .zip archive contains two files:

  • submission-{submission ID}.json: a submission in a JSON format.
  • submission-{submission ID}.properties: Metadata – an additional information on the submission for response reconciliation.
