Manage Programs
You can create and edit a program at any stage, before the End Date of a program. When you no longer need a program, you can end or suspend the program. You can also delete an obsolete program. You can clone an existing program, if you do not want to configure all the details from scratch.

To create a program:
- Open Structured Data Capture.
- From the left navigation, click

- On the Programs page, click
.
- In the Create Program form, enter a Name and a Description for the program.
- Enter the Start Date and the End Date of the program.
- Under Data Submission Schedule, select a value from the Submission Frequency drop-down.
- Under Program Owner(s), select the users that you want to make Program Owners.
- Click Save. SDC saves the program with the status "Planning."
- On the program detail page, click
to publish the program.

Name

Name of the program. |

Start Date
|
The date on which the program becomes active. Submitters can submit data only in an active program. |
End Date
|
The end date of the program. |
Submission Frequency
|
The frequency of program data submission. The possible values are:
- Adhoc: The submitter can submit data for any duration.
- Daily: The submitter can submit data for one day at a time.
- Weekly: The submitter can submit data for a week at a time. The week starts on Monday and ends on Sunday.
- Monthly: The submitter can submit data for a month at a time.
- Quarterly: The submitter can submit data for a quarter at a time. The quarter ends in March, June, September and December respectively.
- Half Yearly: The submitter can submit data for half a year at a time. The first half ends in June and the second half ends in December.
- Yearly: The submitter can submit data for a year at a time. The year starts in January and ends in December.

Program Owner (s)
|
Select from a list of users the ones that you want to make program owners. |
After you save a program in SDC, you can set it up by adding forms to capture data.

Structured Data Capture also allows you to:
- change the end date of a program,
- add or delete program owners for a program,
- add or delete receivers,
- add, publish, or delete forms,
- enroll or disenroll submitters,
- end or suspend a program,
- delete a program (only programs with the status "planning"),
- clone a program.
To suspend or end a program:
- On the Programs page, click the name of the program that you want to end or suspend.
- At the right corner, click
, and then click End or Suspend, depending on the action you want to take.
- Click
on the confirmation pop-up.
To clone a program:
- On the Programs page, click the name of the program that you want to clone.
- At the right corner, click
, and then click Save As.
- On the pop-up that appears, enter a unique name for the new program.
- Click
.Note When you clone a program, SDC does not copy Submitters, Data Submissions and Transmission Files from the earlier program to the new program.
To delete a program:
- On the Programs page, open a program with the status Planning.
- At the right corner, click
, and then click Delete.
- Click
on the confirmation pop-up.
Note You, as a program owner, can have the Enrolled Programs module available only as a premium add-on.

Planning
|
Indicates that the program creation is in progress. |
- Delete

Published
|
Indicates that the program has been published and is available to all the submitters enrolled to that program. |

Active
|
Indicates that the program is active and the enrolled submitters can start submitting data within the program. |

Suspended
|
Indicates that the program has been suspended by the program owner. At this stage, submitters of the program cannot submit any new data to the program. |
|
Ended
|
Indicates that the program end date has reached. |
