Get Started

The Managed File Transfer (MFT) service allows you to exchange data with your partner securely through private direct connections (inboxes). By using the MFT service web portal, you can:

• Download, install, upload, and activate agents or set up SFTP.
• Create and manage secure inboxes for receiving data.
• Establish organization agreements and personal agreements for data exchange by using the easy-to-access online invitation system.
• Get notifications about new connectivity agreements or about updates in the existing connectivity agreements based on your partners' suggestions.
• Accept invitations to connect with other partners/users.
• Monitor transmissions and view the log history of all data transfers.
• View statistic dashboard on uploads, downloads, errors appeared during data transfers.

To start using the MFT service:

1. Go to https://mft.sandbox.kollab.link, click Register here to create a Smart Trading account, or sign in using your credentials. ( Watch also the video tutorial available that shows you how to get started with Smart Trading Cloud.)
2. Contact your account administrator to enable the MFT service subscription. If you are an administrator, go to https://auth.sandbox.kollab.link, and enable the MFT service for your organization account.
3. On the Connections page, download, install, and activate an agent or set up SFTP.
4. Create inboxes to structure and sort your incoming data. Or use the default inbox.
5. Establish an organization agreement or a personal agreement to invite a partner and to start data exchange. Once your partner/user accepts your invitation, you will get a notification.
6. Start receiving/sending your data.

To send files to your partner, your partner has to share his/her inboxes with you.

In the section My Profile, you can view the information related to your company that you provided when you registered your account. To do this:

In the left pane of the MFT service web portal, click the section My Profile ( on the toolbar). The pane is displayed.

In the section My Profile, you can:

• View and edit your first and last names.
• View your email address and telephone number.
• Change your password.
• View the name and the account ID of your organization, its address and telephone number.

If you are an administrator, you can click Manage Organization Account (in the upper-right corner of the pane) and be redirected to the Smart Trading Cloud.

You can also move to any of your Smart Trading Cloud applications to which you have access. To do this, click the button that represents the application on the navigation bar Managed File Transfer (), and then select an application to which you want to be redirected.
