Visualize Metrics
With the Monitoring service, you can visualize your metrics using customizable charts. You can analyze the load on the system, CPU usage, the throughput rate, the number of HTTP requests over a period of time, RAM usage, and so on. The Monitoring service allows you to:
- accumulate statistical data that you can filter using custom criteria.
- represent this data as a collection of informative visualizations for better monitoring, for troubleshooting, and for analysis of your system performance.
The service helps you detect abnormal activities that need to be eliminated.
On the Dashboards page of the Monitoring service, you can:
- create and edit charts,
- re-arrange the charts on the dashboard,
- change the time range for each chart,
- refresh a chart if the related data has changed,
- filter metric records by their properties,
- and expand the charts that you want to focus on, in particular.
Before you start creating visualizations, you must upload the metrics to the Monitoring service using a monitoring agent or the SDK.
