Welcome to Structured Data Capture

Structured Data Capture (SDC) is a cloud-based, secure way to capture structured data in a scheduled manner, whether it is used for a clinical trial, for the determination of quality measures, or to report on a patient safety event. Structured Data Capture collects data using intuitive data forms and file uploads from partners, batches the data, then transforms and transmits the data in a standard format through secured channels to the desired location of the organizations. This standardized process for Structured Data Capture helps healthcare organizations to:

• Reduce the burden of data collection on healthcare organizations by enabling secure, single-point data entry that populates data into several systems or applications.

With Structured Data Capture, you can do the following:

Program Management

• create programs and enroll submitters to the programs,
• capture data into programs using forms,
• view and manage the programs you are enrolled to.

Submission Management

• submit data to the programs you are enrolled to,
• view and manage the submissions you have received,
• view the submissions you sent.

Transmissions

• export data or transmissions from SDC to a pre-defined location,
• download the exported data/transmissions,
• resend failed transmissions.

Monitor and Tracking

• track the overdue submissions.
• monitor data delivery to delivery locations.
• display alerts and notifications.

The Dashboard is the landing page of SDC, and gives you statistics of programs, of submitters enrolled within programs, of incoming and outgoing submissions, and of overdue submissions. You can click on any one of these statistics in the sections and it will take you to the relevant page.
