Configure User Permissions

Note If you are not an account administrator, you can skip this section.

When your organization account gets the CAQH Endpoint Directory subscription, the Smart Trading Cloud creates the following service-specific user groups with the pre-defined permissions:

EPD Administrators

Users who have the full set of permissions. All those who belong to the Administrators group are added to the group EPD Administrators automatically.

Note In the section Organization Profile, to edit the sections Organization Details and Contact Details, the user should be an EPD administrator as well as the account administrator of that certain organization.

Users that have only the EPD Administrator role permissions can only edit the sections Supporting Documents, Order Form, and Attestation in Organization Profile.

EPD Superusers

Users who have read-only access permissions to the CAQH Endpoint Directory but can have full access to operations with the test scenarios and executions and can establish a partnership with another organization. You must add these users to the group EPD Superusers manually. In the CAQH Endpoint Directory, such users can:

  • View the profile details of the organization to which a user belongs.
  • View the profile details of the application/endpoint.
  • Add and remove the test scenarios.
  • Create, edit, remove executions for the test scenarios of the applications/endpoints.
  • Submit test scenarios and executions for the review.
  • Send, accept/reject the connection requests.
  • View and dismiss the notifications of the connection requests.

The EPD Superusers cannot:

  • Create, edit, delete, register, and publish applications/endpoints.
  • Edit the organization's profile.
  • Submit applications/endpoints for the review.

EPD Users

Users with read-only access to the CAQH Endpoint Directory. You must add these users to the group EPD Users manually. Such users cannot view any notification in the CAQH Endpoint Directory.
